Glasses For You
Obviously the size and shape of your face are important, but more critical is the correct interpretation of your prescription. The power and design of your lenses in some cases will limit your choice of frames.
- Square face: slightly curved frames that sit high to minimise the jawline
- Round face: straight or angular lines, deep colours
- Triangular face: thin rims with vertical lines that sit lower on face; avoid bold colours and large frames
- Oblong face: similar to square but frames should cover as much of the centre of the face as possible
- Oval face: almost any shape, but keep size in proportion to the face
